SilentPrint 2.82 Released

A new version of FunAsset’s batch printing software is released, with support for Foxit Reader and fixes to known issues.

One the biggest changes is support for Foxit Reader when printing PDF documents. “We found certain versions of Adobe Reader and Acrobat were unreliable when used with certain setups,” states Mark Williams, Marketing Manager for FunAsset. “Introducing support for Foxit Reader has helped overcome these problems, and is now the recommended application for printing PDF documents with SilentPrint.”

The option to select Foxit Reader or Adobe Reader/Acrobat can be found within a new Compatibility tab within the Global Options dialog (accessible from the SilentPrint tray menu).

SilentPrint 2.82 also incorporates a number of fixes, all of which are detailed in TechNote 091119-01

Existing users can upgrade to SilentPrint 2.82 for free and do not require another licence key.
