e-Toolkit Success at e-Pay for Efficiency
Ilminster, UK -
19 November 2004 - The launch of the Integrated
Document Solutions (IDS) e-Toolkit at the e-Pay for Efficiency
exhibition was declared a great success by all IDS staff
who attended. The event, held on Tuesday 16 November 2004
at The Conference Centre, Westminster, London, attracted
almost 100 UK local authority personnel, the majority of
whom are directly involved in getting their organisations
e-Government enabled.
Despite the exhibition being aimed at demystifying
the complex world of e-Payments, the IDS e-toolkit was enthusiastically
received. "The majority of organisations that exhibited
were offering only e-Payment solutions," claimed Mark
Dowson, Senior Consultant for IDS who integrate and support
document production products and services throughout the
world. "Our e-Toolkit offered attendees the tools to
solve a significant number of other e-Government related
problems that local authorities are currently faced with."
The e-Toolkit demonstrates the comprehensive
range of products and services that IDS can offer. From output
management, distribution and data stream to e-Doc conversion
products to facilities management and web services, the e-Toolkit
provides local authorities with a complete solution.
Tom Neave, Managing Director for IDS states: "Local
authorities should look to IDS and our e-Toolkit as a one-stop-shop
for solving their e-Government problems. We have access to
more solutions than any other UK integrator or distributor
and we have the experience and expertise to ensure that we
can solve the problems that local authorities face in the
best and most cost-effective way possible."
Having access to such a diverse range of solutions
doesn’t mean that IDS has sacrificed quality for
quantity. "Our
solutions are sourced from well respected developers such
as FunAsset and FormScape" comments Tom. "Not
only that, our team has considerable experience integrating
and supporting these solutions within local authority ICT
departments and print rooms."
Whether a local authority wants to convert their
printed output for e-presentment or archiving, or automatically
email their CTAX and NNDR bills, IDS can provide the solutions
to these and many other e-problems.

of products and services that make up the IDS e-Toolkit,
