Empower the way you use PDFs with the IDS range of PDF solutions
The following PDF solutions are available...

PDF Concatenation and PDF Optimisation
Combines multiple PDFs into a single optimised PDF. If the same image appears within multiple PDFs the optimisation process ensures only one image is stored in the resultant PDF – keeping its file size to a minimum.

Example: Combine a letter with a personalised marketing leaflet so when they are printed they always appear in the print tray together - making the folding and envelope insertion processes far simpler.

PDF Splitting
Splits a single PDF into any number of smaller PDFs. Splitting can be number based (i.e. split every 5 pages) or content based (i.e. split when a marker is identified on a page).

Example: Split a large PDF containing multiple client letters into individual PDFs so each letter can be appended to the associated client’s record in an archive or CRM system.

PDF Overprinting and PDF Watermarking
Adds the content of a document such as an image, text file or PDF, in front or behind the content of a PDF.

Example: Add names and addresses contained in a CSV file to a PDF letterhead and letter.

PDF Text Extraction
Extract and save all or specific text contained within a PDF. Text can be saved to a wide range of document formats including TXT, DOC/DOCX, XLS/XLSX, XML or a database file.

Example: Extract names and addresses from a PDF containing multiple letters and add the details to a database or spreadsheet.

Create PDF from XML
Create PDFs from an XML template file that determines fonts, images and static text, and apply a run-time data file that contains dynamic text.

Example: Use an XML template file to create the background of a PDF marketing leaflet and overlay recipient names and addresses contained in a run-time data file.

OMR Mark and Barcode Insertion
Add OMR marks and barcodes to PDFs.

Example: Automatically add OMR marks and mail barcodes to a PDF containing multiple letters that require printing and posting.
